Whately Hall reopens under new management
Tulip Hotels and Real Estate is excited to announce the acquisition and long-awaited reopening of the historic Whately Hall Hotel in Banbury town centre. The hotel will be managed by leading UK hotel management company Countrywide Hotels who advise on all matters of hotel ownership from acquisition to the day to day.
Alongside the new owner, Whately Hall also welcomes a new General Manager, Leigh Gerard, who arrives with over a decade’s worth of experience in hotel management, including nearby Wroxton House Hotel in Banbury.
Managing Director of Countrywide Hotels, Darren Patt said “Having acquired Whately Hall during its period of closure, I am excited to welcome the people of Banbury, and guests from further afield back to the hotel. I understand how important the hotel is to the town of Banbury, as a landmark, but more importantly, as a place for people to come together. Our new team, lead by our new General Manager Leigh, want to embrace the local community, and hope that they will be there to support us moving forward as we reopen.”
